What is Green Chemistry?

Green chemistry protects the environment, not by cleaning up, but by inventing new chemistry and new chemical processes that do not pollute. Green chemistry emphasizes renewable starting materials for a bio-based economy. Click here to see the Twelve Principles of Green Chemistry.

Who Are We?

The Canadian chapter of The Green Chemistry Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to promote green chemistry to protect human health and the environment.
